About Us

The Michigan Music Teachers Association (MMTA) promotes and encourages the understanding, appreciation, and study of the art of music.

Our membership includes independent music studio teachers, college and university faculty, professional musicians, collegiate students, and associate members.

The MMTA offers opportunities for members to enhance their professional development through studio resources, performance and presentation opportunities, festivals and competitions, musician collaboration, and more.

MMTA is an affiliate of Music Teachers National Association.
